TOPIC: THE MANTLE OF POWER
Text: Acts 2:1-4
INTRODUCTION
The Lord Jesus assured us that we would do greater works than He did John 14:12. We would be able to operate with His type of power to accomplish great exploits in the kingdom tasks that have been given to us. As Christ ambassadors, so many resources have been made available to us to adequately represent our Lord Jesus Christ. May the Spirit of the Living God grant us hearing hearts in Jesus name.
1. YOU MUST RECEIVE POWER
*Without the power of the Holy Spirit, no Christian can start and do the mission that has been assigned.

*The Power of the Holy Spirit strengthens and emboldens Christians
1 Sam 2:9, Eph 3:16, John 14:26
2. CONDITION TO RECEIVING POWER
*You must thirst and pray to receive power with godly motive - To serve God
Matt 4:1-2, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:13-14, Luke 4:18
*God determines the manner and order of the receipt of power Acts 10:44-48
*We must always obey God’s commands to be able to operate in and receive continuous flow of the power of the Holy Spirit. Eph 4:30-32, 1 Sam 16:14
CONCLUSION
We are already in the second half of 2021. As Christians we need the refreshing power of the Holy Spirit to effectively navigate the rest of the year as we carry out the task that God has given us and have great success in every aspect of our lives. This second part must be greater than the former in your life in Jesus name. May the Holy Spirit entrench us in His power going forward unto victory in Jesus name.
