TOPIC: BEYOND MIRACLES
INTRODUCTION
Generally, in the life of Man everything starts in the spiritual realm before it manifests in the natural
realm. In other words, the Spiritual controls the physical. We shall be looking at the place of miracles
and blessings in the life of a Christian. May the Spirit of revelation give us access to the mystery of
His truth in Jesus name.
1.WHAT IS A MIRACLE?
*Miracle is a Divine intervention, an extraordinary event that is inexplicable by natural or scientific
laws but is attributed to the action of Divine power Ex 14:21-22.
*Miracles are temporary, once the need is met the miracle ends Mark 6:41-43, John 6:26,
Psalms 78:10-11.
*Miracles are a one-off Divine intervention designed to usher you into the life of blessings
2 Kings 2:7-9.
*Miracles are wonderful, but they have no seed in themselves to keep on producing Matt 14:28-31,1
King 18:46, John 4:14, John 14:6.
2.WHAT ARE BLESSINGS?
*Blessing is the invoking of God’s favor upon a person or from one person to another.
*Unlike a miracle, blessings are eternal and blessings will keep growing.
*Blessings demand responsibility and obedience to the Word of God. Gen 17:1, Deut 28:1-2,
Deut 8:6-10, Deut 12:28
*Blessings contain seeds to keep going on perpetually and keep producing after its own. Gen.1:22, 28,
Gen. 27:27-29, Gen 22:1-3,16-18
*Curses can be removed by a blessing. Gal. 3:13-14, Numb. 22:18
3.THERE IS SOMETHING BETTER THAN NEEDING A MIRACLE.
The mind of God is that Christians will have access to His storehouse through Abraham. God has
already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. These blessings are designed to
affect our lives in every realm in which we walk. The plan of God is that Christians live in the miracles
of Abraham in his blessings. Eph. 1:3, Gal. 3:8-9
CONCLUSION
If we are already blessed, how can we enter into our blessings in Christ? These blessings require
responsibility and obedience. It covers every aspect of a Christian life. Exod. 20:6, Job. 36:11
