Text: Heb 11:1-6
INTRODUCTION
Christianity is a Faith walk 2 Cor 5:7. When you become born again, you are born into the faith.
You are in a new kingdom - the kingdom of God's Son, Jesus Col 1:13-14.
In this kingdom, faith is an indispensable force for living and accomplishments. Heb 11:6, James 1:6-8.
It is also important to know that our God is a Faith God. Everything He created, He created by faith
Heb 11:3, Psalms 33:6. If our God is a Faith God, and we are of Him, then we must be faith children. Because like begets like Eph 5:1. May the seed of God's faith already in us be increased in Jesus name.
A FAITH FILLED LIFE
Our whole life and daily business as a Christian should be one of total and constant dependence on God. A faith-full believer is totally dependent on the God of Faith.
*A Christian is called to live a life of faith in God. Heb. 11:6, Heb. 10:38.
*Our salvation is by faith. Living is by faith. Healing is by faith. Victory is by faith. Eph 2:8, Heb 10:38, Matt. 9:20-22, 1 John 5:4
*Great success in the kingdom is dependent on the measure of faith you have.
If you are to be greatly used by God, you need to have great faith. All the Patriarchs who obtained a good report did so through faith Heb 11:2,33-34,39.
*A Christian life has been programmed in such a way that you can't do anything without faith Rom 14:23. We are programmed to depend on God for all the nourishment that will enable us to produce results.
Jn 15:4-6
*We must remain connected to the power source - The Word. The Word of God is the food that nourishes your spirit and produces faith in you Rom 10:17.
It is important to keep to the Source Josh 1:7-8. Rely on God alone for all your needs.
Phil 4:19, Jer 17:7-9. If you have an alternative source, God will not help you, because He will not share His glory with anyone. Isa 42:8, Ex 34:14
CONCLUSION:
Faith in a Christian's life is the pathway to a life of exploits and great success in God. Attitudes matter a lot in your faith walk. Maintain the right attitude. Let anxiety and impatience be far from you. Maintain an attitude of praise and face every task before you willingly and gladly. No matter the situation, serve God with joyfulness and gladness of heart. Jer 17:9-10, 1 Sam 2:3, Deut.28:47-48. Above all, ensure you feed on the truth of the Word alone. May God keep you standing firm in faith in Him to the end in Jesus name.
