INTRODUCTION
Our God is a God of plan. Nothing happens under the Sun by accident.
Everything that God does is well thought out. There are motives for His actions.
From the Creation of the Earth and the Heavens and all that is in them including Man.
He has reasons and purposes for them all. Tonight, our focus is to study deeper into the purpose of the coming of the Savior into our world and its implications upon our lives as believers. May we be quickened in our Spirit by the Teacher Himself – the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
1. God of motive
*Our God is the Master Planner. God’s plan for all His creation is a good plan.
It is good because the plan is certain to work, producing the ends for which it was ordained Isa 46:10.
*God has a motive for sending the Lord Jesus as the Savior of mankind.
• To activate the process of salvation of mankind John 3:16
• To put an end to the destructive reign of man’s adversary 1 John 3:8, Luke 4:18
• To reveal God the Father John 14:9, John 12:45
2. God’s motive for choosing you.
*Every believer must not be in doubt of God’s motive for their life. John 15:16, Matt 28:19-20,
Mark 16:17-18
*Sound knowledge of who we are in Christ will encourage us to be diligent in the task God has assigned to us. 2 Tim 2:15, 2 Pet 1:10
*Christ was on earth to reveal God the Father. So too believers are mandated to reveal Christ to the unsaved world. 1 Pet 2:9-10, Matt 5:16 Gal 1:15-16
3. Fulfil your purpose in Christ
*God expects every believer to complete successfully, the task that is assigned to them
2 Tim 4:7, John 17:4-5
*Know that as believers, we shall give account of our stewardship to God at the end of time
Matt 25:19, Matt 18:23
CONCLUSION
Christ completed the assignment God the Father gave Him. Many of our progenitors also glorified God in the work He gave them Heb 12:1 eg Moses, Abraham, David, Elijah, Paul etc. The task that God has given each individual believer must be completed for us to receive commendation at the end of time. This is the time for you to evaluate your work with God. Is the work of God in your hands progressing or has it stalled, or have you abandoned it? This message is a wake up call for very believer that is heaven focused. Be encouraged in Jesus name.
