LET GOD BE TRUE

Text: Rom 3:3-6
INTRODUCTION
Unbelief of any kind cannot invalidate the Word of God. Isa 55:11. The lack of faith by anyone does not any way diminish or make the Word of God powerless. Every prophetic declaration of God concerning this world will be fulfilled whether man believes it or not Matt 24:35. Our God is immutable, from Everlasting to everlasting, The Almighty God Psalms 90:2. As far as God is concerned, the most ruthless plague destroying believers is nothing but ignorance Hosea 4:6, Ignorance borne out of arrogance enabled by pride and disobedience. May the Holy Spirit open our understanding in Jesus name. 1. THE SCRIPTURE IS NOT SUBJECT TO PRIVATE INTERPRETATION 2 Peter 1:20-21
*People today put their thoughts, their feelings, and their words above that of God’s. Even the Church of today choose which aspect of the Bible fits their denominational acceptance and interpretation. “Civilised believers in today’s Church toothpick what they feel is correct in the Word of God that conforms to their feelings. 2 Tim 4:3
*God’s Word is true and constant Psalms 119:89. At no time did Christ command us to interpret His Words. Rather, we are commanded to search, meditate and carry out all His commands Josh 1:8. We must be careful to seek for understanding of the scripture from God Himself.

2. LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR Rom 3:4-5 *Rejection of the infallible Word of God opens us to Divine condemnation and entrapment of the devil John 12:48.
*Beware of false teachers. Spiritual false teachers are the ones who know the truth but deliberately lie for another agenda than that of God. They existed in the days of old and even today. They feast on unstable and immature believers. We must separate from them. 2 Cor 11:13-15, Matt. 7:15-20, 2 Tim 3:6-8, Rom 16:17-18.
*It is imperative that a Christian mature into the sound knowledge of God to avoid being swayed by falsities and heresies. 1 John 4:1-6, Rom 12:2, 2 Tim 2:15
CONCLUSION: Let God be true is an urgent alert to the body of Christ not to allow themselves to be swept away by the waves of Satanic doctrines flying over the land. Believers must soundly and truthfully represent God everywhere in all situations at all times. Hold fast to the sound doctrine of God through Jesus.
