THE UNSTOPPABLE FAITH

TOPIC: THE UNSTOPPABLE FAITH
TEXT: Rom. 8:35-39
INTRODUCTION
It is easy to find excuses to give up, considering all the pressures that we face in our journey back home. Yet, when we remember the privilege and the unfathomable blessing of being among the few selected members of God's family, such a realization puts into perspective the challenge of our faithfulness to the kingdom project as worth it Heb 12:2. May the Lord continually enable us to remain strong and finish well for the glory of His Kingdom In Jesus name.
- WELCOME TO THE BATTLE ZONE
* Our calling as believers is a battle which automatically puts us at odds with the world. John 15:18,
Matt. 24:9, 2 Tim. 2:3-4
* We will face hostilities from all sides, from society, our contemporaries and families. We will experience persecution and conflicts that we cannot foresee. John 16:33, 1 Peter 4:12-14, Matt 5:10-12,
2 Cor 4:8-9, Matt 10:22
*We have confidence and faith in Christ that strengthens us. We can always draw solace in the Word of truth and power of the Holy Spirit as we grow in the faith. Rom 15:13, Phil 1:6, 2 Cor 12:10
- TO COMPLETE OUR RACE IN VICTORY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
*The testimonies of our progenitors in faith should serve as an encouragement to stay focused in Jesus. Heb. 12:1, 2 Tim. 4:7, John 17:4
*If our forebearers received God’s commendation, we have no excuse not to keep the faith and finish well. Num. 14:24, James 5:17
*The price that Our Savior paid for our new life must never be forgotten. Much has been given to us and much is expected of us, and we cannot fail. Rom. 5:8, Isa. 53:8, Matt 25:19, Luke 12:48
CONCLUSION
Jesus expects every believer to remain committed and focused even when this means great discomfort, inconvenience, pain and loss. This level of loyalty to the Savior is possible through deep love nourished by meditating and carrying out the truth of the Word of God, pouring out your hearts in praise, worship and prayer, Looking unto Jesus as the author and finisher of our Faith. May the Lord continue to provide the grace we require to grow in our Faith in Jesus name.
